Available for download, iZotope's RX Post Production Suite 3 combines Neutron 2 Advanced, RX 7 Advanced, Insight 2, and other tools to help facilitate the post production process. RX 7 Advanced gives you a spectral editor for zeroing in on troublesome audio, as well as a plethora of modules that can help you mitigate sonic issues anywhere in the frequency spectrum. Dec 11, 2018  RX Post Production Suite 3 includes iZotope's top-end processors including updated versions of RX 7 Advanced and Insight 2. Post Production 3 also comes with Neutron 2 Advanced, RX Loudness Control, Tonal Balance control and 250 sounds from Pro Sound Effects and Groove3. Using specific modules, the new updated RX 7 Advanced adds deeper control for problematic dialog recordings found in post-production work.

iZotope, Inc. released updates to its RX family of audio repair and enhancement software. The seventh generation of RX is spread across RX 7 Advanced and the RX Post Production Suite, which focus on the needs of audio post professionals, while RX 7 Standard and RX Elements solve common (and uncommon) audio issues faced by musicians.

An Industry Standard Post-production Toolkit. With its comprehensive collection of tools for audio restoration, dialog editing, mixing, and content delivery, iZotope RX Post Production Suite 4 is an all-in-one solution for post-production engineers and a favorite of Sweetwater’s post-production experts.

The updates in version 7 are said to represent the latest advances in iZotope’s assistive audio technology for a sped-up workflow. Some of the highlights in RX7 Standard include:

Repair Assistant – An intelligent repair tool which analyzes audio to detect noise, clipping, clicks, and more, then offers three processing suggestions at three different intensities.

Music Rebalance – Using an algorithm trained with machine learning, Music Rebalance performs source separation by intelligently identifying vocals, bass, percussion, and other instruments. Users can then individually enhance elements of a stereo audio track, making it possible to adjust a mix without multitracks.

Remove/Isolate Vocals – Create instrumental versions of songs by removing the vocal elements, or isolate the vocal to prepare a remix without access to individual tracks or stems.

RX Elements has also been updated with a streamlined version of Repair Assistant, offering a single repair suggestion with a choice of three intensity levels.

Compared to RX7 Standard, RX7 Advanced presents deeper control over dialogue alongside workflow enhancements. Some of the highlights include:

Dialogue Contour – reshape the intonation of dialogue to rescue or improve a performance, powered by pitch correction that is tailored to speech and designed to adjust the inflection of words within a phrase.

The XP is not supported anymore. Keep your GPU drivers updated to the latest version to ensure that you won’t be able to encounter graphical glitches. Lastly, you must install the Visual C Redistributable from Microsoft. Remember to use only the latest Operating System such as Windows 10, 8, or 7.

Dialogue De-reverb – reduce or remove unwanted reverb from dialogue clips using an algorithm trained with machine learning and optimized to separate spoken dialogue from reverberant signal content.

Pro Tools AudioSuite plug-ins – save time when fixing production audio by staying within Pro Tools and using new AudioSuite plug-ins to access features like De-Rustle and Dialogue Isolate.

Multi-channel support – tackle audio issues that appear in any or every surround channel up to Dolby Atmos 7.1.2.

In the time since iZotope’s audio metering and analysis plug-in, Insight, first launched, surround sound has prompted new channel standards for film and TV, broadcast loudness targets have changed, and entirely new systems of measuring audio have been developed.
